I hold the belief that there are three fundamental perfections that we can grasp:
The perfection within the universe: Perhaps it endures eternally, recycling akin to a seed, guided by an infinite intelligence from a pristine singularity (0) to an expansive living cosmos, and then returning to perfection once more.
I am convinced that there exists a perfect way of life, referred to as "the way" (John 14:6). It is my conviction that only when we truly comprehend the perfection within "the way" can we begin to acknowledge the perfection within the universe. This understanding necessitates the presence of an infinite intelligence permeating all creation, the very essence of which serves as the genesis of all.
The perfection within the written word, namely the Bible: While some portions may be allegorical, this does not diminish the perfection evident in its accounts of creation, history, wisdom, moral guidance, and prophetic insight. This perfection is epitomized in Christ's embodiment of "the way" of life. He led by example, and we are called to follow suit by taking up our cross.
IS MAN SUPREME?
If man deems himself supreme in the universe, he assumes the authority to dictate right and wrong. In such a scenario, there is no supreme authority whose laws he must adhere to. His actions are driven solely by power, passion, and pleasure. Should he desire to commit acts of violence or transgression, there exists no external restraint, for man's laws are feeble at best, and he may evade consequence altogether. The prevailing belief in America that man is supreme heralds the onset of apostasy.
The symbiotic relationship between God and man is profound. God creates man, and through man's worship, God finds expression. Man, in turn, is molded by God's love and discovers fulfillment through the pursuit of worship (Matthew 7:7-8). Each is intrinsically dependent on the other. Indeed, our singular purpose is to worship God, while all other aspects of existence serve as supplementary blessings. Every facet of existence bears a purpose, and it is our solemn duty to discern that purpose, even amidst formidable challenges.
Ultimately, it is through contemplation and reflection that we draw closer to God. While in the past, it was the Holy Spirit that led us to Christ, now, it is through our own faculties of thought that we navigate the path towards divine enlightenment.
THE SEVEN STEPS TO PERFECTION :
1) Purpose - Make sure it is a God given purpose !
2) Plan - Written plans are the key !
3) People - Make sure you have the right people for the job !
4) Perform - Success through action !
5) Perseverance - If at first you don’t succeed , try , try again !
6) Patience - Rome wasn’t built in a day !
7) Perfection - of accomplishment through God’s will !
